New approaches to characterize Th17/Treg cell balance contributing to anti-tumour immune responses |
Project description:
|
The project will be carried out at the University of Gdańsk. The project is supported by the National Science Centre Poland. We are now launching an international recruitment for exceptional scientist who wishes to join a international team aiming at applying cutting-edge new technologies in molecular, biochemical and cell biology, proteomics, bioinformatics in cancer immunology research. We are particularly interested in applicants who have knowledge in the fields of cancer immunology, systems biology, cell signalling or veterinary science. However, talented and enthusiastic applicants from other disciplines will be considered. |
Key responsibilities include: |
To identify and functionally characterize novel regulators of Th17/Treg cell balance contribute to tumorigenesis in animal models and in patient populations. |
Profile of candidates/requirements: |
The successful candidate will apply systems biology approaches, such as RNA-seq, proteomics, guide RNA methodologies to identify and integrate oncogenic signalling developing new immunotherapeutics. We are looking for exceptionally motivated candidates with a recent Ph.D degree and a proven track record in immunology and solid knowledge and working experience with cell biology or molecular biology. Experience with animal work is preferred. |
